San Alfonso del Mar is not a hotel – the apartments belong to individual owners who sometimes rent themselves, or through the management of the complex. The complex has a rental office so that the owners don’t have to handle the rentals on their own. The apartments are very nice, but don’t expect maid service. Don’t even expect them to offer sheets and towels, except at an additional price. And pack your own TP! … and by the way, Chile is NOT a third-world country receiving U.S. aid. The U.S. doesn’t subsidize everybody! The prices can be found at the resort’s website, http://www.sanalfonso.cl/ingles/main.html .

Only thing that put me off is how the fretboard and headstock are heavier than the body itself, sometimes making it awkward to hold. It’s something small in the overall experience however.

@ Culus – just do it!!!! I did and I love every minute of it. The bike is s dream to ride and in my opinion the sexiest bike ever designed. Smooth as butter and comfortable as all get out. This is the bike to have!!!!
